Best PR Tactical Campaign

The winning entry, with a Silver Award, was for ‘Launching a Norwegian Gem’ by Flagship Consulting for NCL.

Although there was a limited budget, the team used the money creatively and achieved great results, with a champagne reception, celebrity endorsement, and a film of the occasion.

150 media pieces were produced about the launch, and thanks to a lot of local pre-publicity, eight thousand spectators filled the Dover promenade on the night.

Subsequent public awareness of NCL resulted in the company reaching its booking target with ease.

There were two Runners Up in this category. Both with silver ratings.

In second place was Siren PR for Royal Caribbean International with the ‘Launch of Independence of the Seas’.

In third place was The Saltmarsh Partnership for Icelandic Tourist Board’sStill Banking on Tourism’.
